Qualifying shipments route toward a prioritized “Green Lane” of faster documentary clearance at a moment when China’s customs authority has made lab-backed traceability a legal requirement for export.

FarmID begins as trade infrastructure and becomes economic infrastructure. With a verifiable identity, a farm can sell through e-commerce channels as a trusted seller whose claims any buyer can check; and its accumulated, verified track record becomes exactly the evidence banks and insurers have always lacked — opening the door to working-capital loans, farm insurance, and harvest insurance for producers who were previously invisible to the financial system. A farm with FarmID is no longer just a plot of land; it is a bankable, tradable, verifiable business.

Green Passport launched with Release 1 shipped and a Day-1 base of approximately 5,000 GAP-certified farmers, and is built to extend across Thailand’s wider fruit export corridor — and, in time, across borders and crops: the same evidence chain answers the EU Deforestation Regulation’s plot-level traceability requirement for Vietnamese coffee, where the chain is 85–90% smallholder.
